Jay looked forward to when his shift ended and he could go home, and after the day he had man he really looked forward to it. He clocked out, stopped by the hospital to see how Will was doing. Once that was done he went home and slipped inside. He wondered if Grace was home or if she was still at work. He grabbed a bottle of water before checking to see if she was there.

Grace heard him moving around in the kitchen and smiled to herself. It had been nine months now since they had moved in together, and she was encouraged with every day. It felt so much healthier than her past relationship.

She had just gotten out of the shower, and pulled on a clean T-shirt before she walked out into the living room. "Hey, handsome," she said with that trademark dazzling smile that was only for her boyfriend. "How was work, or should I even ask?"

She'd heard that things were crazy in Intelligence, but she also didn't want to not ask and make it sound like she didn't care about his day either. It was up to him if he wanted to talk or change the subject to something happier.

"I just got out of the shower."

She returned the kiss and the hug, enjoying the closeness between their bodies for a long moment. It was always good whenever he came home safe and in one piece.

"Things are okay. It's still weird without Peter there," she admitted. He'd hired her, so it felt weird that he'd moved to New York and left her working with people she didn't know as well. "But I'm getting used to it. I have tomorrow off, too."

She kissed him again and nodded toward the kitchen.

"You hungry? Or we could order a pizza."

"It's always going to be a challenge. But that's because of me, and carrying around all that baggage from my ex. Even though I wasn't in on his stuff it still creates a stigma."

She shrugged slightly, rummaging through the fridge. She'd let him tell her if any particular thing stood out to him.

"Hey. How's your brother's wedding planning going? It's going to be so weird going to a wedding when I thought I was going to get married. But kinda fun, too."

[ooc: Ducking out for dinner, but I'll be back in about 20-30 minutes.]

"I always wanted to get married," Grace admitted. "Not that I'm saying we should."
